Juan Gómez Alemán

Artistic Direction

Coming from the performing arts, Juan Gómez Alemán has written and produced more than a dozen works that gradually led him to the realm of performance art. Among his pieces, notable works include Aburrimiento Chair, Los Abajonistas, and Black Out, which mark his transition from more conventional dramaturgy to languages of action and live presence.


In the field of cultural management and administration, since co-founding La Juan Gallery in 2015, Juan has served as the project's artistic director, promoting a program focused on performance and the most daring contemporary creation.

Rosa Ureta

Address

After an initial period in the editorial world as coordinator of La Fábrica's publishing house, Rosa expanded her practice to include cultural management and project development, eventually directing La Fábrica's gallery, bookstore, and concept store in Madrid. Internationally, her work in India stands out, where she has co-directed two international photography festivals: Goa Photo and Jaipur Photo Festival.


Since 2020, she has been partnered with La Juan Gallery, transforming the project into a cultural management company focused on performance and live arts. As general manager, she has spearheaded numerous artistic projects for public and private institutions, consolidated La Juan's identity, expanded its lines of work (training, curating, production, and consulting), and reinforced its position as a key player in the art scene.

Antonio Sánchez

Management assistance

Trained in classical dance at the Mariemma Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance, Antonio Sánchez graduated with one of the top classes of his generation. He soon began developing his own work as a creator, delving into the world of sound and blending it with other disciplines in his pieces.


Specializing in sound design from the RTVE Institute and in music production from the School of Creative Music, he combines his career as a dancer with that of a musician, releasing original music with the group Pintalaniña and as a solo artist under the name Velutto, his electronic music project that blends DJ sets with his own productions. He also holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, which adds an extra dimension to his work in terms of communication and audience engagement.


Since 2021, he has been part of La Juan Gallery, where he is a regular performer and assistant director. In this role, he participates in the coordination of programming and projects, supports the creative processes of artists and residents, and collaborates closely on the production and execution of La Juan's various activities, ensuring that the ideas reach the stage in the best possible conditions.

Rocío Gutiérrez

Management assistance

A graduate in Graphic Design, she completed her studies with a final degree project dedicated to curating, focusing on contemporary identities, and organized a group exhibition at the Espacio Joven in Pozuelo featuring works by emerging artists. Simultaneously, she interned at NavelArt, a contemporary art center, and collaborated with Habitación Número, a project dedicated to promoting young artists.


With a solid background in graphic design, she decided to broaden her profile by pursuing a degree in Art History, establishing bridges between visual creation and artistic historiography, two deeply interrelated fields.


In 2025 he joined La Juan Gallery, where she has taken on the tasks of graphic design and provides support in the organization and coordination of the gallery's various activities and projects.
