Juan Haus is a residency that serves as a meeting place, training ground, and production hub for artists working in the performing arts in a rural setting. It takes place during the month of July in a country house and offers an intensive immersion in creative work away from the urban environment.

The residency focuses on Land Art and its connection to the body. The La Juan Haus experience culminates in an exhibition of the projects developed in the La Juan Gallery space, where the pieces generate a dialogue between landscape, action, and the public.

The relationship between performance art and Land Art has historically had few examples, despite both fields sharing key elements: presence, the ever-present awareness of the ephemeral nature of living bodies, and the parallels between physical action and the rhythms of natural processes.
