Training

We consider the training of artists a fundamental aspect of our project. Artists beginning their professional careers find in Juan Gallery a space to strengthen connections, a workspace, and facilitate their processes, leading to the creation of works related to action and the body.

Artists' Hospital

This is La Juan Gallery's commitment to a different kind of performance training—dynamic and non-academic. It's not a course designed as a product for profit or a platform for "names" and connections: it's a space for those who enroll today to become the creators of tomorrow's scene.

Artists' Office

A cultural management course designed specifically for independent creators who need to learn how to manage their work while continuing to create. It's not a course to turn you into a bureaucrat, but rather to understand how institutions, grants, artist residencies, budgets, contracts, copyright, communication, and production work… and to use all of that to your advantage.

The Juan HAUS

A residency that serves as a meeting place, training ground, and production hub for artists involved in the performing arts in a rural setting. It takes place during the month of July in a country house and offers an intensive immersion in creative work away from the urban environment.

History of Performance

Performance art has established itself as one of the most risk-taking, radical, and critical contemporary disciplines in the visual arts. However, its historical trajectory can be diffuse and difficult to define. In this online course, we will examine its origins, its possible precursors, and the contexts that have shaped what we understand today as performance art.

Workshops

At La Juan Gallery, we organize workshops for artists and art professionals that complement and expand their practice. These are short-term, one-off events with an international focus.
