Here, projects of creation, discussion and exhibition are originated, conceived and produced around performance, action and the artistic-creative relationship with the body as an object.
From its inception, La Juan Gallery has focused on the boundaries of visual arts, performing arts, dance, and fashion in a way that has allowed it to transcend a simple fusion of these disciplines. La Juan has successfully established performance art, or live art, as a distinct category within Madrid's gallery scene, and this is precisely what has most defined the space's identity since 2015.
At La Juan Gallery, through its proposals, the participation of the spectator is encouraged, the foundations on which the art market is based today are questioned and, above all, a place is offered that serves as an impetus for new authors, artists linked to action art, to create, but also to find an increasingly diverse and less sectorized public.
La Juan Gallery is an intergenerational, cross-cutting and non-sectarian space where people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds are welcome, something fundamental to generating an exchange of experiences and knowledge from these encounters, as well as to bring together the different generations of artists who live and have lived in Madrid.

We also offer training
We consider the training of artists a fundamental aspect of our project. Artists beginning their professional careers find in La Juan Gallery a space to strengthen connections, a workspace, and facilitate their processes, leading to the creation of works related to action and the body.
